TriMet taps team for $128M bus line

PORTLAND — Multnomah County transit authority TriMet has chosen the Portland-based joint venture of Raimore Construction/Sundt Construction as construction manager/general contractor to upgrade bus service on busy 82nd Avenue to an express line.

The $128 million project updates TriMet's most popular bus line, a major north-south corridor now served by the 72 Killingworth. New fuel-cell electric buses powered by hydrogen will run the FX– Frequent Express route between Clackamas Town Center-Transit Center and Northeast Portland's Cully neighborhood.
