RFQ coming for $15M Tacoma reno

TACOMA — Tacoma Public Schools gave advance notice Monday of its plans to release a request for qualifications for $15 million in renovations to its central administration building at 601 S. Eighth St.

The project was funded by the district's $650 million bond that passed last February, and involves building envelope improvements including tuck-and-point work and brick replacements. Work also includes window replacements, seismic upgrades and safety improvements.
