Kent taps Skanska as GC/CM for $38.4M municipal campus rebuild

The city of Kent has chosen Skanska to act as general contractor/construction manager for two city-owned building renovations totaling 155,000-square feet.

With an estimated MACC of $38.4 million, the project will help the city consolidate its operations and upgrade its civic spaces, data center and audiovisual equipment. Work will be phased to minimize disruptions. A notice of the city's intent to award the project to Skanska ran in last week's DJC.
