Ecology seeks input from contractors

OLYMPIA — The state Department of Ecology is seeking input from the construction industry to help reduce workplace exposure to toxic chemicals through its Safer Products for Washington program.

Ecology is currently researching building materials and products used in construction that may contribute to higher workplace exposures. The agency is seeking participants to join a 90-minute, in-person focus group in the greater Seattle area, which would gather early next year.
