Construction jobs — and pay — were up in September

Construction jobs were up by 19,000 in September, according to a report by the Associated General Contractors of America of the most recent government employment data.

The AGC notes that firms continue to add workers to meet the demand for public sector projects and data centers, even as other areas of the industry are experiencing a slowdown.
