Ballard's new gateway aims to better serve all modes of transportation

A new landscaped median runs along the repaved 15th Avenue Northwest, with a new bus lane and road markings north of the Ballard Bridge.

A construction project that welcomed travelers to Ballard with intermittent rough roadways, lane reroutings and slowdowns for the past year is complete, with significant pedestrian, transit, safety and seismic improvements visible along the essential transportation corridor.
