Weekend work for SR-522 in Bothell

By JOURNAL STAFF

BOTHELL — Contractor crews for the Washington State Department of Transportation will be at work this weekend adding a third lane to eastbound state Route 522 at the Interstate 405 interchange, and to the northbound I-405 on-ramp to westbound SR-522.

The work is part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR-527 Improvement Project. Skanska USA Inc. is the design-build contractor for the $834 million project.
