Projects to pause for World Cup

SEATTLE — A winning football season may be behind us, but there's still more sports to come for the city of Seattle, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

From June 8 to July 7, the Seattle Department of Transportation plans to pause construction in busy areas. SDOT says this will make it easier for everyone to get around the city and enjoy the festivities.
