New neon lights the way to Pike Place Market

Unlike its sibling signs on the eastern side, this one actually says “Pike Place Market” — letting you know you’ve arrived.

Waterfront visitors and downtown residents had a front-row view last week as a new 16-foot-tall neon sign was hoisted into place on the western side of Pike Place Market.
