Peninsula fish barrier work begins Feb. 24

Crews will remove the culvert and outdated fish ladder at Lees Creek near US 101, giving fish access to seven miles of habitat upstream of the crossing.

A $146 million Washington State Department of Transportation project to remove four barriers to fish in Clallam and Jefferson counties is scheduled to begin Feb. 24.
