Hybrid electric fire truck to cut noise, air pollution at Boeing Field

The Striker Volterra fire truck can be operated in full electric mode, or with a diesel engine for extended operations.

A new hybrid electric fire engine has arrived at King County International Airport-Boeing Field, part of the airport's efforts to combat climate change and cut noise pollution.
