89 Northgate units, all affordable, open at Nook

The building was done, but for some minor facade and sidewalk work, during an early January visit.

The temporary certificate of occupancy came last week for Nook at Northaven, a separate affordable housing development on the east side of the Northaven senior housing campus. The 89-unit midblock project, at 11045 Eighth Ave. N.E., was designed to complement and integrate with Northaven and its residents.
