32 Bellingham units headed to design review

The site is near Flatstick Pub, also on State Street (right).

The land sale came two years ago for a corner property in Bellingham, roughly midway between the WWU campus and downtown. It traded for all of $60 per square foot; two small commercial buildings are to be removed. New apartments are planned for 930 N. State St., on the corner of Rose Street. The first design review will be on April 15, with Zervas Architects presenting its five-story, 32-unit proposal.
