Almost every permit for the project appears to be in place.

The Kirkland land sale, for under $1.4 million, didn't attract much notice back in 2018. In the north end of Juanita, at 13604 100th Ave. N.E., it's easy to miss an old duplex and companion commercial building, which are well screened by shrubbery. The midblock property is tucked between a McDonald's and La Corona Mexican Restaurant.
