Roystone, with 93 Uptown units, changes hands

The Roystone (center) is in the heart of walkable Uptown.

Soon after completion in 2023, the new 93-unit Roystone went on the market. Developed by Vibrant Cities, the eight-story building now goes by 5 W. Roy St. (It's on the corner of Queen Anne Avenue North, in Lower Queen Anne.) First Interstate Bank was part of the financing, and loaned $30 million to the project five years ago, not long before construction began.
