BREMERTON — A few miles north of the Bremerton Ferry Terminal, up state Route 303, an old house sold three years ago to Chick-fil-A. (The nearly $2.1 million deal was for about 2.2 acres.) That popular restaurant chain is now planning a new eatery at 1460 N.E. Vena Ave., roughly opposite the Lowe's. The old house has been removed.
The state Department of Ecology recently noted that the Chick-fil-A's SEPA filings are complete; the public comment period ends July 20. The plan emerged late last year; it includes about 100 surface parking stalls.
