From Sprout to slices near Smith Tower?

SEATTLE — When Smith Tower sold last year, for an undisclosed amount, the deal also included the nearby Butler Garage and the diminutive two-story Florence Building, at 512 Second Ave., immediately north of Smith Tower. That has two office suites above the ground-floor retail bay; the latter has been vacant since the pandemic. Sprout, a healthy lunch spot, debuted there in 2015.

Katie Parsons at Real Retail has been seeking to fill the 2,500 square feet. JPC Architects filed an early tenant improvement plan this week for MOTO Pizza, which has locations at Bellevue Square, in Belltown, Bellingham, Edmonds and West Seattle. Its website already lists 512 Second, too.
