Vintage red-brick trio, with 215 units, trades for $35M

On Capitol Hill, the Charbern stands on the corner of East Olive Street.

Back in March, Kidder Mathews listed a three-building portfolio, with 215 apartments on First Hill, Capitol Hill and in South Lake Union. The asking price was then nearly $41 million. The seller was to be Stephanus family, which had owned the trio for many decades.
