Onni starts on taller 121 Boren apartment project

    In South Lake Union, “no parking” signs recently sprouted around the vacant former 13 Coins restaurant corner, at 121 Boren Ave. N. The prohibition runs from Aug. 11 until April of 2027. And crews from Gary Merlino Construction have begun breaking up slab in preparation for utilities work for the long-planned apartment tower, to join Onni Group's cluster of buildings on the former Seattle Times blocks — two completed, two more planned.
