Port to start Elliott Bay Trail improvements at T-91

Hooray! The narrow old bridge is going away!

As one bike/ped bridge reopens, another one closes. Yesterday, following the long holiday weekend, the West Thomas Street Bridge again linked Uptown to Myrtle Edwards Park. That vital span has been closed for about six weeks, to allow work on the ongoing Elliott Bay Connections project. The latter privately funded effort improves the Elliott Bay Trail from roughly Pier 62 to Expedia headquarters at Smith Cove.
