Fear not, the Frankfurter shall return!

On Wednesday evening, the little red stand was being loaded onto a trailer.

At Pier 55, the little red Frankfurter hot-dog stand has been a fixture on the downtown waterfront since 1975. Last month, an alert and justifiably alarmed DJC reader reported that it was closed and fenced.
