Following quiet sale, Hotel 1000 has new owner

The tower rose two decades ago, where Warshal’s Sporting Goods once stood.

Averting a scheduled February foreclosure auction, the owners of downtown's Hotel 1000 sold that property earlier this month to Envision Hotel Partners. King County recorded the deal as a zero-dollar transaction. Based in Southern California, Envision effectively assumed the old $40 million loan from Varde Partners.
