Boutique offices in Fremont, with canal-side appeal, could be yours

The two-story building, with mezzanines and terrace, cleverly navigates the land-use code to maximize allowable floor.

Sometimes at the DJC, our regular Project of the Week feature can feel more like, Project of the “Whoops we missed it!” As in, those small but deserving jobs that were squeezed out of our pages by the elephants of the development jungle. So it is with 114 N.W. Canal St., a boutique office project completed in 2017.
