Wright Runstad proposes another 594 units at the Spring District

Looking north across the new Northeast16th Street, the revised plan has a pair of seven-story buildings.

On the north side of the light-rail tracks and station in Bellevue's Spring District, Wright Runstad and Shorenstein Properties have approved plans to develop more office buildings. Those plans, of course, long predated the pandemic and subsequent reshaping of the office market — particularly for the volatile tech sector. Unsurprisingly, the developers are now steering some of their vacant building sites to apartments, where demand is more safe and steady.
