Up in Bellingham, Boardmill hotel and apartments still happening

  • The city noted several new permit applications last week for the Boardmill Block.

    A boutique hotel will fill the vacant old Boardmill building. A separate five-story apartment building would have about 166 units.

    The saga of the polluted former Georgia-Pacific property, owned by the Port of Bellingham, is now well into its second decade.
