Padel plan pitched in Kirkland

Anyone for padel? Not to be confused with pickleball or tennis, the doubles net game employs padded paddles that produce a lower ball speed than, say, squash or racquetball.

KIRKLAND — As close readers of the DJC will know, following last fall's story about a possible indoor padel facility in Ballard, that sport is not to be confused with pickleball or tennis.
