Mount Baker site returns to market

SEATTLE — Not that long ago, it seemed that Lowe was going to buy and redevelop a 2-acre industrial property a few steps south of Mount Baker Station. Ankrom Moisan Architects then had a well detailed 427-unit apartment plan for 3211 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. JLL was then the broker for the Jorve family (of Jorve Roofing).

But the six-story proposal has been quiet for the past two years, with no master use permit issued. And, earlier this month, the property popped up on the sales market — now with CBRE as the broker.
