As the DJC reported earlier this month, following the $34 million Bellevue land sale, Versant is the new moniker for a 351-unit apartment project to replace the old John L. Scott office building.
Tomorrow morning, Homestead Community Land Trust will unveil the first of two nearby condominium projects on Phinney Ridge. That's the five-story, 25-unit Woodland View, at 5819 Phinney Ave. N., the south building.
Downtown's landmarked and century-old Eagles Building has also been variously known as the Eagles Auditorium, Kreielsheimer Place, the Union Arts Center (home to the recently merged Seattle Shakespeare Co. and ACT Theatre), the FOE Aerie No. 1, the Eagles Temple, the Eagles Hippodrome ... and, finally, the Eagles Apartments.
In May of last year, Tarragon announced the singing of tenant Odom Corporation to take most of its Building 6, then under construction at the SeaPort Logistics Center, a little east of Lake Tapps. That deal was for 250,000 square feet. The family-run Odom is a beverage distributor with its headquarters in Bellevue.
