This home gained a basement workshop and larger family room, an enlarged living, dining and kitchen space on the main floor, and a top floor master suite when a three-story addition was built at its east end. A den with a view replaced stairs that were relocated to the entry of the addition. Dramatic new flat roof planes replace the old gable roof form and were raised over the living area for more light and spaciousness. The flat roof planes over the house were repeated over the new two-stall carport.
