Lasting Nest/Velocipede Architects

The goal was to create a family home for the next 100 years that worked with the proportions of the established neighborhood. By remodeling the first floor and adding a whole new second story, the result represents a perfect union of architectural refinement, superior craftsmanship, urban intelligence and environmental sensibility. The team managed to overcome many challenges in this 1903 house and stay within its goal of $190 per square foot. It was only the third remodel to earn Built Green’s 5-Star designation.
