Foushee & Associates hasn’t had a recordable or lost workday injury in seven years.

Employee involvement and ownership is the key to Foushee’s safety performance record.

Every project has an employee assigned to help the project superintendent hold daily and weekly safety inspections, review safety work plans and conduct weekly safety meetings.

The company takes a preventative and proactive approach to health in the workplace. Its occupational medical program is state-of-the-art in that it assists employees with both work-related and non-work-related health issues. The scope of this program includes such issues as illness prevention through the use of vaccine, education and awareness of bloodborne disease in the workplace, respiratory protection, back injury prevention, ergonomic task loading analysis, heat stress training, and monitoring and controls of exposure to asbestos, lead and silica.

Foushee has experienced no recordable injuries or lost workday injuries during the past seven years. In March 2006, Foushee was recognized by the AGC of Washington for achieving an experience modification rate below .3900 over a 13-year period.
