The Meriweather House features bands of colored concrete on the driveway and entrance.

The Meriweather house, part of the 1998 Street of Dreams in Tacoma, was the winner in the Decorative Concrete category. The home uses stamped and decorative concrete for high curb appeal.

The driveway and entrance to the home are bordered with bands of charcoal and red color. Stairs in the front and back of the home feature bevels with extra accents of charcoal color.

Two patio areas in back use textured and colored concrete to accent the house's brick work. They are connected with matching stepping stones that were cast in the same colors.

The project team includes: Joe Irby, developer; North Bay Homes, general contractor; First Impressions, concrete contractor; and Holroyd, ready mixed supplier.
