Synergy Construction won a Merit Award for its work on Kateri Court in downtown Bellingham, one of the nation's first affordable housing projects to achieve LEED gold certification. The project team included Environmental Works (architect), Geiger Engineers, and ABC members Andgar Corp., Arlington Electric Co., Moncrieff Construction, Propel Insurance and Van Beek Drywall. The owner is Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. |

Marpac Construction won a Merit Award for a $23.2 million rehabilitation of the East Kong Yick Building in Seattle's International District into the permanent home of the Wing Luke Asian Museum. The project team included Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, Coughlin Porter Lundeen (engineer), and ABC members Acoustics Northwest, Davis Door Service, Matheus Lumber Co. and PCG Democon.
