Seattle-based public relations and marketing communications firm McKnight & Company Inc. has added Liz Chalmers as controller and B.J. Livingston to its administrative staff. Chalmers will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting department. Her prior experience includes positions as chief accountant at Jones & Jones Architects in Seattle; consultant at Dominion Lumber in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and portfolio accounting manager for Copley Real Estate Advisors in Boston. Livingston's background includes working administration for the Washington Society of CPAs, Mail-Well Envelope Co. and the Mercer Island Reporter. Prior to that, she was a classroom teacher for various public schools around the country.

Market Street Computer Systems, a Northwest computer systems integrator and consulting firm located in Seattle, has hired Richard A. Van Winkle as vice president. Van Winkle's technical focus is on business re-engineering and client server systems design and integrations. He is responsible for helping Market Street's clients increase productivity and efficiency, while lowering costs, through the application of computer technology and Internet access.

Jeffrey L. Prevette has been named director of jewelry design and repair for Stewarts Jewelers of Kent. Prevette has more than 23 years of experience in designing, crafting and repairing jewelry. Before joining Stewarts three years ago, he operated Metal Jems Jewelry on the Seattle waterfront and was a designer for Garrison Studios.

Homebuilders and industry associates who provide design, interior and exterior merchandising, sales and marketing support, and related services are invited to submit entries to MAME (Major Achievement in Market Excellence) 1995. The awards are sponsored by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. Also Lisa Kennan-Meyer has been named chairperson of MAME 1995. Fred Glick has joined HNTB as director of urban design and planning. Prior to joining HNTB, Glick was principal urban designer and landscape architect with the Portland firm of Demuth Glick Consultants, Ltd. His national award-winning designs include the transit station area planning and right-of-way design for the Banfield Light Rail Project in Portland.
Ginny Hoglund-Gray has been named manager of the site and civil engineering unit at Entranco. The unit consists of 22 civil engineers, designers and CAD specialists. In addition to environmental and engineering services for highway, street and roadway design, the staff has provided site and civil engineering services for Eddie Bauer's corporate headquarters in Redmond, the expansion of Providence Health Care Center in Everett and Microsoft's World Headquarters in Redmond. Linda Stepp has been promoted to the position of controller at Entranco. She has been with the firm for six years, and served as assistant controller prior to this appointment.
Nancy L. Y. Lim has joined Freiheit & Ho Architects, Inc. as an associate. She will focus her efforts on serving the health care industry, but will also be involved with the firm's food service, retail and industrial clients. Lim was recently a principal with Wangerin Lim Oakdale Architects of Bellevue.
Jan Eric Fredrickson has joined the firm of Weber + Thompson Architects as job captain and intern architect. He brings five years of experience with multi-family housing, commercial projects and single-family residences to the firm.
Neitha Wilkey has joined Angelo Architecture of Tacoma as a project architect. She will also assist in the firm's marketing efforts.
