Robert R. Randall Photography has launched a World Wide Web site at http://www.halcyon.com/r3images/. The site was designed entirely by Randall and includes images from its sports & fitness and fashion portfolios. Samples from stock photography and links to other web sites are included as well. The Seattle photographer also has added a digital imaging and retouching services. Recent projects include assignments for Glamour Magazine, Sierra On-Line, the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Esterline Corp., and Seattle Magazine.

Ronald Q. Anderson, former Northwest regional administrator for the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), has joined the Bellevue office of David Evans & Associates, Inc. (DEA) as senior transportation manager. In his WSDOT position, he was responsible for managing a $400 million annual program and a workforce of 1,500. The $1.55 billion I-90 project was completed during his tenure as well as the expansion of the region's high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) system.
John Graham Associates/DLR Group has appointed three new senior associates in the firm. Robert Hoffman was transferred to Seattle from the firm's Tampa office four years ago and is currently working on two new elementary schools for the Longview School District. Steve Hubbs, electrical engineer, has worked on the Boeing 777 office building in Everett and an expansion of the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. Denise Slomian coordinates the firm's marketing efforts. She has been with the firm for eight years. Doug Foster, who has recently joined the firm, is at work on the Ala Moana Center as well as schools in Longview and in Camas.
Brenda Ross, project architect and CADD manager with Cummings Associates Architects Inc., has been named an associate in the firm. Most recently she has served as project architect for the Bellevue High School Technology Facility Refurbishment and as the owner's construction representative for City of Kirkland Park Department projects.
Rens B. M. Verburg has joined the Redmond office of Golder Associates Inc. as a senior geochemist. He holds a Ph.D. in geochemistry and mineralogy from Penn State and specializes in environmental issues surrounding metals mining, smelting and refining. He will support the environmental, mining and biosciences groups at Golder.
Elizabeth A. Vaughan has joined the Seattle office of Nielsen-Wurster Group, Inc. as a senior consultant. A graduate of Spring Garden College and Villanova University School of Law, she most recently worked with Hill International Inc. in New Jersey.
Phil Rude has joined Fletcher Farr Ayotte (FFA) in Portland as a project manager, and is currently working on the parking structure expansion for the Port of Portland at Portland International Airport. Brett Schulz, a graduate of Pratt Institute, is a new project architect for FFA. He is working with the U.S. Postal Service on several new design and construction projects.
Sieu Quan recently joined Berger/ABAM Engineers Inc. as an engineer. He has a master's degree in structural engineering from the University of Washington and has developed a system for screening bridges for possible structural failure. He has also worked as a Chinese interpreter for the Port of Seattle. Quan is now at work on a structural analysis for the Port of Seattle's Terminal 18 upgrade project.
