CB Commercial senior consultant Eric Schaffer, of the Financial Services Division, has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. The designation reflects completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of qualifying experience.
Four new sales agents have joined Windermere Real Estate. In the Bellevue South office, Ted and Marilyn Ludwig have joined the team. He worked 17 years with John L. Scott as a sales agent and branch manager. She also worked there as his licensed assistant. Sherry Newman, new to real estate, has joined Windermere's Redmond office. She formerly worked for SLN Corporation. And Linda Schroll joined the Auburn office after working one year for John L. Scott. Also at Windermere, Kim Marsh-Stearns and Ronda Sims, of the Federal Way-West Campus office, have earned their Graduate Realtors Institute designations.

Barrie Lynn Krich has joined the Seattle-based broadcast design firm Digital Kitchen as director of marketing. Krich will lead new development efforts, while also managing client services. Krich formerly worked for advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi/Pacific Inc.
The Seattle company Design Intelligence has won the 1997 "Most Valuable Product" award at Comdex for its desktop publishing program, i publish 2.0. The award, sponsored by PC Computing, is for the Personal Desktop Publisher category.

Rick Johnson has been named principal in the Seattle office of KPFF. He manages the civil/structural engineering group, which provides services to bridge and waterfront clients throughout the Northwest. He is currently working on the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge post-tensioning retrofit project, Washington State Ferries Colman Dock Passenger-only Ferry Terminal, and King County Brissack Bridge.
Gregg Farris has joined the water resources group at Entranco. Farris specializes in surface water management, and previously worked for the City of Seattle Engineering Department for five years. His projects include the South Park Drainage Plan and the Lake Union Combined Sewer Overflow Control project. Since coming to Entranco, Farris has been performing engineering analyses of Lower Bear Creek in Redmond, Meydenbauer Creek in Bellevue, The Cedar River Trail Bridge in King County and the Oaksdale Avenue Bridge in Renton.
Ruben Nunez has joined BOE Architects of Tacoma as a project associate. He will be involved in the design of the New Sanctuary addition for the Puyallup Church of the Nazarene and new United States Postal Facilities in Burlington, Enumclaw and Ocean Shores.
Coral P. DeWilliam has been named director of facilities architecture by URS Griener, Inc. She will be responsible for the development of an architectural practice in the firm's Seattle office, specifically targeting public projects such as higher education, recreation/athletics and government facilities. DeWilliams's design career has included housing, aquatic centers and indoor and outdoor recreational and athletic facilities.
Manfred Zinserling has been promoted to project manager at Berger/ABAM, where has managed a variety of transportation and waterfront facilities projects. Susan Rakow Anderson was promoted to project engineer. Her 15 years of professional experience has included seismic analysis and structure upgrade for marine, transportation, bridge and floating structures.
Nick Bossoff has been promoted to technical director in the civil division of D'Amato Conversano Inc. (DCI), of Kirkland and Everett. His civil engineering experience in the Puget Sound area includes the Grand Ridge and Blakely Ridge master planned developments in King County, several Hagens and Supervalue Supermarkets in Washington and Oregon, and several Puget Power substation projects. He is currently project manager for the Jennifer Distribution Center in Clackamas, Oregon, the Sedro Woolley Fire Station, the Larkspur Landing Hotel in Gresham, Oregon and the Bellevue Multi-service Center.
June H. Yi has joined Kennedy/Jenks Consultants as a staff engineer in the industrial services group. She will participate in the planning and design of industrial process and wastewater treatment facilities. She has experience in water purification, wastewater treatment, waste minimization and coolant recovery systems.
Mark Burgess has joined the staff of Hutteball & Oremus Architecture in Kirkland. He has thirteen years of experience in the Seattle area as a project architect and construction manager, and he is currently working on construction documents for the new Monroe High School for the Monroe School District. Architect Richard L. Deno has also joined the firm, with 25 years of experience as a project manager and designer. He is now at work with the design team for the remodel of Anacortes Middle School.
Ron Huld has joined Sienna Architecture as a senior architect and construction document manager. His project experience includes work for Kaiser Permanente, Good Samaritan Hospital, Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland Community College and the Broadway Theater in Tacoma. Gustaf Kamp has joined Sienna's retail group. He most recently worked on an extensive model for Nike Inc.'s North Campus Expansion in Beaverton. In addition to his work at Sienna, Kamp is co-teaching a studio in the planning and design of community fire stations within regional town centers at the University of Oregon's Portland Urban Design Program. Jill Enomoto has joined the firm's retail group. She recently completed her Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Oregon. Sienna's government services group has added Frederick Zall to its team. He recently completed his Masters of Architecture program at the University of Oregon, where he taught courses in lightweight structures and digital media. Heather Heimsoth has joined Sienna's accounting department.
Bryan Campbell has been promoted to project manager at Bush Roed & Hitchings, Inc. He has served with the firm since 1988, and specializes in construction surveying. He is currently working on the Benaroya Research Center at Virginia Mason, the Oberto expansion in Kent and the Bellevue Galleria project.
