Meier Enterprises names execs

KENNEWICK -- Meier Enterprises, a Kennewick environmental-services firm, has announced new corporate officers. Richard Routh, chief engineer, and Robert Bready, senior designer, were each named vice president. Carmen Clyde is the new corporate controller and Debra Carlisle was named corporate secretary.

ALSC Architects

ALSC Architects has promoted several staff members to associates.

Terri Parkin, marketing manager, has been with ALSC Architects for 16 years. Parkin has recently helped secure several major projects for the firm, such as the new Washington State University Art Museum.

Doug Kasman has been with ALSC for seven years. His recent projects include the Whitworth College Science Building remodel, the Spokane Falls Community College Fitness Center addition and the Spokane Community College Wellness Center.

D. Paige George has been with the firm for six years. She has worked on the award-winning Preston Hall Junior High School renovation in Waitsburg, Coldwater Creek's new Seattle Store, two elementary schools for Pullman School District and the new Spokane Valley YMCA.

Callison

Seattle-based Callison Architecture has promoted several senior employees.

Cynthia Faw is a project manager working on a number of very large projects including a mixed-use project currently under construction that Callison designed for the San Francisco Giants.

Sari Graven specializes in workplace research and consulting. Graven's current consulting projects include Fred Hutchinson, Xerox Parc and Hewlett-Packard.

Joan Insel is a senior graphic designer.

Callison is an architecture, planning, interior design and graphic design firm based in Seattle.

H. W. Lochner

Ali Mansour has recently joined H.W. Lochner as a senior project manager. He has more than 18 years of experience in designing and managing civil and transportation engineering projects.

H.W. Lochner is a civil and transportation engineering firm headquartered in Chicago. The firm's local office is in Bellevue.

Olympic Associates

Olympic Associates Co. has hired several new employees.

James Estes joins Olympic Associates as controller. Estes has more than 25 years experience in architecture and engineering, construction and real estate companies as chief financial officer.

Gary Green comes to the firm as project engineer. Green will provide construction management, project engineering and facilities management.

Gary Wells has been hired as a construction manager for the firm. Wells provides project support, contractor coordination and project engineering.

Olympic Associates is a Seattle-based firm that provides project and construction management, estimating, scheduling, engineering and architectural services.

Otak

Dave Peebler and Marcell Iseli joined Otak's survey department in Kirkland.

Lloyd Savage has joined the survey department in Kirkland as survey manager. The Kirkland office has also added Kathy Lundgren and Gayle Graham as project assistants and Roseann Walker as receptionist.

ZGF

Patrick Gordon has joined as principal in the Seattle office of Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership. Gordon brings 30 years of experience in directing the design and development of major private and public sector projects in the Northwest and elsewhere. He will be assuming project leadership assignments as well as assisting in business development.

In addition to ZGF's office in Seattle, the firm also has offices in Portland, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Baylis

Kurt Wolslagel has joined Baylis Architects as an intern architect. Originally from Bisbee, Ariz., Wolslagel is working on three waterfront townhomes in Renton and a waterfront home in Kirkland.

Hanson Engineers

Charles Chambers and Mike Pochop were recently promoted in the Bellevue office of Hanson Engineers.

Chambers, who manages the office and has been with the firm since 1997, was named associate partner. Pochop, a railroad engineer with the firm since 1998, was named associate.

Hanson Engineers provides architectural, engineering and scientific services. The corporate headquarters is in Springfield, Ill.

W&H Pacific

Claude Sakr has joined the Portland office of W&H Pacific as account manager in its transportation services group. Sakr has 15 years of experience with the Oregon Department of Transportation where he most recently served as a project manager. His areas of expertise include bridge design, and senior project management on transportation improvements through construction. Sakr also managed Oregon's Light Rail and interface highway improvements program in Portland.

W&H Pacific is a planning, engineering and surveying firm based in Seattle, with offices in Beaverton, Bend, and Klamath Falls, Ore., and Boise
