CDi Engineers announced Richard C. Gerber has joined the firm as an associate. He has experience in health care and higher education projects, as well as sustainable building design. He is a member of the American Hospital Association, American Society for Health Care Engineering, Society for College and University Planning, and International Facility Management Association.
Victoria L. Yaros, CDi's director of business resources, has been promoted to associate. She has been with the firm since 1997, and has 25 years experience in business management. She is responsible for human resources management, financial and accounting management, contract review and project administration, facilities management and general office, information services and administrative staff management. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
Skillings-Connolly added Mike Kardas and Andrew Perez to its sewer and wastewater services.
Kardas has been working in the consulting industry, specializing in management and design of sewer and wastewater projects.
Perez recently worked for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, at one of the largest wastewater treatment facilities in the world.
Skillings-Connolly is a civil, transportation and environmental engineering firm headquartered in Lacey. It has 80 employees in the western U.S., with offices in Vancouver, Boise and Missoula, Mont.
GeoEngineers added Leah Alcyon as health and safety program manager. Alcyon has 10 years experience in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, ergonomics, hazardous materials and asbestos.
Alcyon will be developing health and safety policies and consulting for clients on industrial hygiene. Her consulting specialties include health and safety audits, construction safety training, air and noise exposure monitoring and program development.

Steve Fischer has joined GGLO's integrated design practice. He has 15 years of design experience on projects such as housing, hospitality, retail and commercial. Fischer is working on University Village and other retail projects, and will soon join design teams for two Hope VI housing redevelopment projects, Greenbridge and Rainier Vista.
