CDi Engineers announced Richard C. Gerber has joined the firm as an associate. He has experience in health care and higher education projects, as well as sustainable building design. He is a member of the American Hospital Association, American Society for Health Care Engineering, Society for College and University Planning, and International Facility Management Association.

Victoria L. Yaros, CDi's director of business resources, has been promoted to associate. She has been with the firm since 1997, and has 25 years of experience in business management. She is responsible for the firm's human resources management; financial and accounting management; contract review and project administration; facilities management; and general office, information services, and administrative staff management. Yaros is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.

Reid Middleton

Ding Ye, a design engineer at Reid Middleton in Everett, recently received his Washington Civil Engineering Professional Engineer's license.

Ye has seven years of experience in civil, environmental and construction engineering. He has experience in site development, environmental restoration, construction management and purchasing. He recently provided civil engineering design for the Green River Community College Technology Center, the Snohomish County campus redevelopment and the Ault Field sewage lagoon closure on Whidbey Island.

MulvannyG2 Architecture added several staff members to its Portland office in response to a reorganization the firm made earlier this year.

Kenneth Roberts, associate, has 28 years of architectural experience, specializing in commercial, institutional and residential design, as well as project management. He has four years with MulvannyG2 in its corporate office in Bellevue, and has transferred to Portland to work on projects for clients such as Target, WinCo Foods, Fred Meyer and Nike.

Richard Shavey, senior technical architect, has 25 years of architectural experience and transferred to Portland after working with MulvannyG2 in Bellevue for five years. He has experience in construction management, working with clients such as Target, Walgreens and Fred Meyer.

Randy Sauer, project manager, has 11 years of experience in architecture and is responsible for organizing, developing, planning and managing projects related to development, design and construction. He was one of the first 10 to become LEED accredited in Oregon.

Pearse O'Moore, project manager, has 11 years experience and is responsible for supervising design development, code research, cost estimates, construction documents and construction administration.

Anastasia Perrigo, project manager, has 12 years architectural experience in commercial and corporate projects, as well as international experience in Europe and Asia.

DKA recently added three people its architectural staff. Sibu Dandato has joined the firm as an intern architect. Dandato is working on a new building for the Asian Counseling and Referral Service and a health clinic tenant improvement for International District Community Health Services.

Loren Brandford brings six years of experience to DKA where he is working on renovation projects for three Seattle Public Schools, and a new 238-bed dormitory for the Department of Labor.

Michael Stevens has five years architectural firm experience. At DKA he is assisting on two Seattle Monorail station designs, a new building for ACRS, and a city of Seattle maintenance facility located under the Fremont Bridge.

MulvannyG2 Architecture recently appointed Andre Bellerjeau to manager of business development.

Bellerjeau will be responsible for assisting with MulvannyG2's business development efforts and will work directly with the corporate director of business development and the principals of the firm's retail, office, community, industrial, international and interiors studios in Bellevue.

Bellerjeau has 12 years of architecture and interiors experience, and previously worked for MulvannyG2 from 1997 to 2000. He has worked throughout Europe, based in Munich, as the managing director for a security design company. His project experience at MulvannyG2 includes the 30-story Elliott Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle and MulvannyG2's headquarters at the One Twelfth@Twelfth office campus in downtown Bellevue.

He is committee chair of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and active on two associations in the city of Bellevue.

The Glosten Associates

Duane Laible, chairman of The Glosten Associates, has received a presidential appointment to the U.S. Arctic Research Commission. With seven voting members, the commission works to promote arctic research and assists in establishing national arctic research plans and policies.

Laible has been instrumental in the development and expansion of Glosten's support to the research vessel community: serving all of the major U.S. oceanographic research institutions, and assisting the Office of Naval Research and National Science Foundation in defining requirements for next generation research vessels. With 40 years of marine industry experience, Laible will provide the commission both research and commercial activity perspectives.
