McGranahan Architects of Tacoma added two to its staff. Dustin Schaefer has been hired as a project designer and Nori Kimura has been hired as an interior designer. Schaefer is part of the design team for North Thurston School District's Timberline High School. Kimura is working on the Washington State History Museum, Pacific Northwest Title Co. and the Frank Russell Co. projects.

Triad Associates promoted Roy Lewis to vice president. Lewis joined Triad in 1978 as a project engineer. He manages several projects for Centex Homes and Yarrow Bay Development. Triad also promoted Mary McDowell to project surveyor and Kim Means to licensed surveyor.

KPFF Consulting Engineers

Todd St. George has been named associate at KPFF Consulting Engineers. St. George is working on the structural design for a parking structure at Woodland Park Zoo. Since joining KPFF in 1995, he has worked on the University of Washington's Oceanography and Fisheries buildings, Grays Harbor College Manspeaker Instructional Building, South Seattle Community College University Center and Seattle's new City Hall.

Cary Kopczynski & Co.

Cary Kopczynski & Co. hired Tanveer Sahoo as a senior engineer, Satish Jain as a senior design engineer, Andy Tu, Jae-Wook Park, Jason Thome, Matt Hopper as design engineers and Alan Tolmasoff as a CAD designer.

CollinsWoerman

CollinsWoerman recently added 20 architects and interior designers and a graphic designer, to help with the firm's corporate, health care and mixed-use projects. New senior architects are Douglas Bailey, Art Garcia and Michael Osburn. In addition, Mike Derry, Mike Juenke and Vahid Khastou have also joined as architects. Ten new intern architects include Danielle Anderson, Winmay Au, Nathan Copley, Andrew Lacko, Crystal Loya, Andy Morrison, Patil Ruta, Dale Paul, Leif Pearson and Alberto Serrano. Additions to the interior design team include practice leader Helen Brown and interior designers Carole Kassir-Garcia, Stephanie deVilla and Heather Nye. Graphic designer Yoshimi Yamazaki has also joined the team.

Integrus Architecture recently hired 10 people. Bobby Bouzinekis is an intern architect and is working on the Washington Corrections Center in Shelton and the Washington Corrections Center for Women in Gig Harbor. Marci Combs is as an office assistant and will be working on construction administration. Theresa Daniel is a structural engineer. She is working on the Edmonds School District Service Center and the Richland Elementary and Jason Lee Elementary school projects. Bernadette Donato is receptionist/office assistant. Dean Giles is a project architect working on the Richland Elementary and Jason Lee Elementary projects. He is the latest Integrus employee to obtain LEED certification. Craig Heupel joins as a project architect and is working on the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center expansion. Phung Pham is an intern architect, working on the Sherwood Elementary School for the Bellevue School District. Dan Phelps is a drafter and is currently working on the Washington State University CUB project. Cristine Ross is also an intern architect. She is working on Sherwood Forest Elementary for the Bellevue School District. Amy Vanderhorst, an architect, is working on the University of Washington's Medical School T-Wing Renovation and the Bozeman Middle School renovation projects.

PACE Engineers recently hired six staff members. Edward Gano joined PACE's Seattle office as a junior engineer and is working on Mercer Slough Education Center, Snoqualmie Point Community Park and the Spokane Street Widening Project. Sally Lim is marketing coordinator in the Kirkland office and is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Marleen Arenivar is also a new marketing coordinator. Andy Naylor joined PACE's Kirkland office as survey party chief. Jacob Baglien joined PACE's Oregon City office as a structural junior engineer. April Cook joined PACE's Seattle office as an administrative assistant.

GGLO recently hired four people. Landscape designer Wilma Stordahl is working on the Port Gardner Wharf project in Everett. Architect Michael La Fon has joined the Gardner Wharf team. Sony Purba joined as an architect and is working on Florera in Greenlake and Kent Station. Executive committee administrator Tina Witherspoon has three years of administrative experience.
