LMN promoted two staff members to principal and two to associate. New Principal Julie Adams has worked on the University of Washington's School of Drama Floyd and Delores Jones Playhouse, the Columbia Theater for the Performing Arts' renovation and San Antonio's Bexar County Performing Arts Center. The other new principal, Lori Naig, played a significant role on the Vancouver (B.C.) Convention Centre West, the University of California San Diego's Conrad Prebys Music Center, and a downtown Seattle apartment high-rise called Aspira. Interior designer Nancy Chen is a new associate. She worked on Expedia Tower in Bellevue and two buildings for Vulcan in the South Lake Union area of Seattle. New Associate Stan Lonseth is a leader in the construction administration process. He worked on Old Globe Theatre in San Diego's Balboa Park.

Abossein Engineering

Engineer James Michael joined Abossein Engineering. His experience includes projects with the Army Corps of Engineers in Alaska, Department of Public Works at Fort Lewis, the University of Washington, and the petrochemical and pulp and paper industries.

Parametrix selected engineer Brian Bunker as principal in its Bremerton office. He was a senior vice president with Wade Trim and a regional municipal services market segment manager in Michigan and Ohio. He has worked on a water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, watershed management projects, water and sewer master plans, wastewater treatment plant improvements, transportation and traffic engineering projects, and miscellaneous community sponsored facility improvements. He was president of the American Public Works Association Midwest Michigan branch and a Planning commissioner for the Charter Township of Flushing, Mich. The Bellevue office hired Craig Hansen as a senior scientist. He is a professional wildlife biologist and project manager with more than 15 years' experience in Endangered Species Act and National Environmental Policy Act compliance. He will manage a variety of ESA permitting and NEPA compliance projects related to hydropower and wind power. Hansen is advising Energy Northwest on development of a wind power habitat conservation plan. It is the first wind power project in western Washington. Previously, he was a project lead wildlife biologist and division manager for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Lacey, managing the Division of Conservation and Hydropower Planning from 1998 to 2006. He also worked for an Olympia firm, managing species conservation projects, such as the recently permitted Port Blakely Safe Harbor Agreement and Environmental Assessment.

BHC Consultants

Schuyler
BHC, an engineering and planning firm that works with the public sector, hired Adam Schuyler as project engineer. He has 10 years of experience in infrastructure, water, wastewater, reclaimed water and water resources engineering. He is working on wastewater improvement projects for PUD No. 1 of Clallam County and the Lummi Tribal Sewer and Water District.

Kimberly Eiring is Sparling's new director of finance and operations. She has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, strategic planning, financing, process re-engineering, and asset management functions for public and private organizations. Sparling is a specialty electrical engineering and technology consulting firm.

DLR Group

DLR's Seattle office hired Brian Timian as information technology network administrator; intern architects Amy Brown, Laura Bartunek and Chelsey Olsen; and high school intern Shelby Hintze. Timian previously worked at Zymogenetics. Brown is a master's student at Savannah College of Art and Design. Bartunek is studying for her master's degree at Harvard. Olsen is studying for her master's degree at Iowa State University. Hintze will be a senior at Marysville-Pilchuck High School this fall.
