Michael B. Savage joined Art Anderson Associates, a Bremerton-based engineering firm, as program manager and general counsel. He will support all aspects of the marine and facilities engineering tasks and construction management projects, as well as provide guidance on legal matters. He was managing director and general counsel for a Tacoma development group, and chief attorney prosecuting felonies for the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office.

Marissa Charguala joined Otak's Landscape Architecture and Planning Group in Kirkland. She is working on the National Park Service's Cape Lookout National Seashore passenger ferry study in Morehead City, N.C.; Woodinville-Duvall Road widening for the city of Woodinville; and the National Interagency Fire Center master plan in Boise, Idaho, for the Bureau of Land Management. Otak is an urban design, architecture, planning and engineering firm specializing in transportation infrastructure, water/natural resources, and landscape architecture.

The Bellevue office of Morrison Hershfield, a building engineering firm, hired architect
Gary Barber as a senior project manager and team leader of the new construction division. He is working on a hospital addition in Oakland, Calif., and high school projects in Issaquah and Medford, Ore. Barber was a MulvannyG2 principal, and previously worked at Steven Elkins Architects. He has worked on commercial, retail, residential and mixed-use projects in the United States and Mexico.
NAC Architecture expanded its management team by naming
Sarah Wortman executive director of marketing, a new position. Wortman, who works in the Seattle office, was previously vice president, director of marketing and communications at VOA Associates of Chicago.
Pamella Estes joined the Spokane office as front office supervisor.
Sarah Richardson joined the Seattle office as receptionist/administrative assistant.
