ALSC Architects

Murphy
Ken Murphy has been promoted to principal at ALSC Architects. Since joining ALSC in 1993, Murphy has worked on a variety of projects including K-12 schools, higher education buildings, and sports and recreation facilities. He is working on the Central Spokane YMCA/YWCA, the North Spokane YMCA and six new pools for the city of Spokane.

VIA Architecture

Ball
VIA Architecture hired Greg Ball as director of urban infrastructure. Formerly with AECOM, Ball has 30 years of experience as a designer and project manager for a wide range of projects in public transportation and urban planning. His past projects include light rail stations and airport terminals, including five Skytrain stations in Vancouver, B.C., eight Link Light Rail stations in Seattle, and major expansions of terminals at Vancouver International Airport.

PLS

Professional Land Surveyors in Issaquah hired R. William Glassey as a project surveyor/project manager. Glassey will also be assisting with business development.

EHS Design

EHS Design hired Bruce Lindeke as a project architect. Lindeke has 26 years of experience in public, commercial, health care, nonprofit and residential projects. His past clients include Children's Hospital, Swedish Medical Center, Safeco Field, SeaTac International Airport, the state of Washington and the Port of Seattle.

Fehr & Peers

Fehr & Peers' hired Dan Grayuski as principal in its Northwest Regional Office in Kirkland. Grayuski has been with the transportation consulting firm for more than 10 years, and has 20 years of experience. He will focus on business development. The firm also hired Joel Rabinovitz as a senior transportation engineer with micro-simulation modeling experience. He has been working on local transportation and engineering studies, including simulation and evaluation of alternatives for the Seattle Alaskan Viaduct replacement project. Seleta Reynolds relocated to the office after spending 10 years working in the San Francisco office. Reynolds has extensive bicycle and pedestrian planning expertise and is working with Redmond on improvements for bicyclists, pedestrians and transit riders on the Northeast 40th Corridor. Chris Breiland, senior transportation engineer and Kendra Breiland, senior transportation planner, also recently relocated to the Kirkland office from northern California. Chris Breiland specializes in smart growth and greenhouse gas analysis and is working with the Washington State CTED on ways to analyze greenhouse gas emissions. Kendra Breiland has expertise in transportation finance and policy analysis. She is working on transportation planning projects, from regional plans to campus master plans. Tiiki Rysen, GIS/graphics specialist, also relocating from northern California, will lead visual design efforts.

BHC Consultants

BHC Consultants hired Aaron Werner as staff engineer. Werner has 10 years of experience in the design and construction management of wastewater and water infrastructure projects. He is working on projects in Kitsap County and Carson City, Nev.
