Interface Engineering promoted
Edward David and
Michael Stanton to principals. David, a senior electrical engineer, specializes in marine/upland electrical power system design and is the special projects lead for Interface's Sacramento office. Stanton, a senior mechanical engineer, leads the mechanical design team in Sacramento and has a background in design/build. The firm also promoted four employees to associate principals:
George Arellano, senior mechanical engineer in San Francisco;
Christine Brent, manager of integrated support services in Portland;
Steve Kelly, RCDD principal and technologies team leader in Portland; and
Kathleen Roach, senior fire life/safety designer in Portland. The firm also promoted six employees to associates:
Adam Carlson, senior mechanical engineer in Portland;
Michael Larsen, senior lighting designer in Portland;
Jason Lau, senior electrical engineer in San Francisco;
James Sattem, senior electrical engineer in Portland;
Michael Troyer, senior technologies designer in Portland; and
Valeria Torres, senior electrical designer in San Francisco.
Cross Engineers hired
Steve Hubbs as senior electrical engineer. Hubbs has more than 25 years of design experience. He is working on the Fort Lewis army growth complex, Percival Landing and Coeur D'Alene Resort Casino.
Parametrix hired
Bob Pusey as a survey supervisor in the Bremerton office. Pusey has 16 years of survey experience, including topographic surveys in support of design, bathymetric surveys and land development. Pusey worked for a local land surveying and design mapping firm where he served both public and private clients. His past projects include Apple Tree Cove development in Kingston, Skokomish River survey in Shelton, Crystal Mountain emergency spill response mapping support in Pierce County, Harbor Square Survey Support on Bainbridge Island, the Microsoft campus survey, and base mapping services for the U.S. Coast Guard.

Triad Associates' board of directors promoted
David Hilgers to director of landscape architecture. The position became available when
Jeff Cox became Triad's president. Hilgers has more than 14 years of experience in landscape architecture with an emphasis on campus design, urban parks, recreational facilities, low impact development and streetscape design. He is working on Glendale Golf and Country Club, Talus and the Zero Energy Idea House.
BergerABAM hired
Ben Auseth in its Federal Way office as a construction office field technician. Auseth has three years of experience on construction sites as an office technician and inspector, including providing roadway, bridge, and earthwork inspections, documenting field operations and overseeing quality control. He is working on the Lincoln Avenue grade separation for the Port of Tacoma.
Ben Fisher also joined the Federal Way office as a senior engineer. He is working on the Bridge for Kids project, which involves a proposed pedestrian overpass at state Route 162 in Orting, as well as an evacuation bridge spanning more than 500 feet across the Carbon River to serve as an emergency evacuation route from the local middle and high schools in the event of volcanic mudflows or flooding from Mount Rainier.
CH2M HILL hired Trevor C. Curtis as the public-private partnerships and management consulting services manager for its transportation business group. Curtis is responsible for leading and growing the group's global P3 and consulting services strategy. He has 35 years of experience in the construction and development industry, and has worked the past 13 years developing P3 and private finance initiatives in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. He also has experience in business development, bid strategy and new markets.
