Sparling

Sparling recently promoted a number of people as part of an aggressive growth plan. Nathan T. Larmore is now principal, technology consulting. He has been with the firm more than 12 years and received awards for his technology solutions. Mark Peckover is principal, electrical engineering. He has 18 years of design experience in power distribution and low voltage systems and leads his team in integrated services delivery. Karl P. Pihl is principal, technology consulting. In has 10 years experience and has worked with clients on integrated design. Kelly J. Mamer is associate principal, electrical engineering. He has 18 years of experience. Maureen D. Jackson is associate principal, electrical engineering. She has 21 years in her field. Christian C. Haas is associate principal, electrical engineering. Kendra L. Fuller is associate principal, director of human resources. Tim Philomeno is an associate and software development manager, with an 11 years at Sparling. Randy Fisher is associate and senior lighting designer, Candela, a division of Sparling. He has a degree in architectural engineering, lighting option.

Candela

Mary Claire Frazier, principal for Candela Lighting Design and Consulting, will be a judge for the 2010 27th Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards. The awards recognize projects around the world. Judging is this month and the presentation ceremony will be May 13.

Northwest Engineering

Northwest Engineering said Josh Fifield has received his professional engineering license for mechanical engineering. He is working on mechanical systems for schools in Othello and at Fort Lewis.

DCI Engineers

DCI Engineers has added a new director of business development in Bellevue. Donald Tuttle has more than 20 years of experience, including five as director of marketing and business development at MulvannyG2 Architecture. Tuttle will lead DCI's national and international business development.

Roth Hill

Roth Hill Engineering Partners will become Roth Hill on Feb. 1. The name change reflects the firm's growth beyond civil engineering and land surveying into consulting for public and private Northwest clients. The company will also move to a new Bellevue office at 11130 N.E. 33rd Place, Suite 200.

Architects West

Marcus Valentine joined Architects West in Coeur d'Alene as a project architect. He has worked on custom homes, multifamily projects, office, public works, retail and renovations, both as an associate architect and principal. Architects West and Landmark Landscape Architects hired Molly Teal. She recently passed the landscape architect registration exam and the Idaho Board has approved her application for licensure. Teal has worked on an athletic field for West Valley School District in Yakima, and The Landings Community Park in Coeur d'Alene.

Coffman Engineers

Coffman Engineers hired Tim Garoutte in the Seattle office as a senior project manager in the Mechanical Engineering department. He has 20 years of mechanical systems engineering experience and has worked on a variety of projects including HVAC, piping and plumbing systems. Garoutte has worked on facilities at McChord Air Force Base, and labs for the Institute for Systems Biology and MDS Pharma.
