Jensen Maritime

Parrot
Sperling
Jensen Maritime, a Seattle-based naval architecture and marine engineering firm owned by Crowley Maritime Corp., appointed Johan Sperling vice president responsible for profit and loss, operations and personnel, and Jonathan Parrot vice president of new design development. Sperling has worked at the firm for nine years and is a former owner. Parrot will oversee development of new designs for Jensen.

BCRA

Alan McWain, a senior landscape architect at BCRA, recently passed the green roof professional exam given by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. Tacoma-based BCRA provides building science, architecture, interior and graphic design, marketing, civil and structural engineering, and land use planning.

NK Architects

NK Architects promoted Boyd Pickrell to senior associate. He has 15-plus years of architecture and real estate development experience, and will take an expanded role in operations. Pickrell also will be the in-house expert on mitigating energy consumption through conservation and passive, net-zero systems. NK is a Seattle-based architecture and development firm.

Gensler

Gensler promoted Ryan Haines to senior associate in its Seattle office. Haines previously was an associate. Gensler is a design, planning and consulting firm.
