Robert Eastman joined Wood Harbinger of Bellevue as a project manager for the information technology group. Eastman has 27-plus years of experience in the building industry, including technology consulting services for health care, higher education, commercial office and mixed-use projects. He previously was with Sparling, and has provided design services for Amazon Seattle and Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.






Baylis Architects hired John D'Agnone, David Syferd and Lavina Wadhwani as job captains, Juan Garcini as a project manager, Arthur Schulte as an intern, and Rebecca Becker as a summer intern. D'Agnone is returning to Baylis. He has 13 years of experience and will work on several custom homes. Syferd has six years of experience in commercial, hospitality, mixed-use and residential projects. He will work on a 160-unit residential mixed-use project in Fremont. Wadhwani has 11 years of experience on mixed-use and commercial projects. She is returning to Baylis, and will work on the Fremont Apartments. Garcini has 20 years of experience with workforce housing, corporate offices and international retailers. He is returning to the firm, and will work on apartment projects in northeast Seattle. Schulte is a graduate of the Lake Washington Institute of Technology where he studied multimedia design and architectural graphics. He will assist on large mixed-use residential projects in Seattle, Redmond and Issaquah. Becker has two years of experience, and is working on two mixed-use projects in Bellevue. Baylis is an architectural and planning firm with offices in Bellevue and Seattle.

Zervas Group Architects hired Matt Reeves as an intern architect. Reeves has worked on residential projects and the Health Professions Building for Whatcom Community College. He holds a bachelor's of architectural studies and a master of architecture from Washington State University. Bellingham-based Zervas is an architectural and interiors firm.

GeoEngineers hired Craig Horne as a principal hydrogeologist based in Boise, Idaho. Horne has 25-plus years of experience, and will provide hydrogeology and environmental assessment/remediation. He previously was on a 13-month tour with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan, where he identified groundwater resources and worked on developing the water supply for military bases. Seattle-based GeoEngineers is a earth science, engineering and technology firm.

David C. Franklund, a principal at KDF Architecture, has earned Green Belt Lean Certification for Facilities Design.

Marjorie Wolfe with Environmental Science Associates was appointed to a scientific review panel that advises the state of Oregon on the science related to the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds. It is called the Independent Multidisciplinary Science Team. Wolfe is a water resources engineer and ESA's Portland office director. ESA is an environmental consulting, planning and design firm.
Professional Service Industries promoted Bruce Hall to principal consultant for its roof surveys service line, covering the Dallas, San Antonio, Portland, Mountlake Terrace and Tacoma offices. He is also facilities department manager. Hall holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Texas A&M University, and has been with PSI since 2011. PSI is an engineering, consulting and testing firm.

SRG Partnership promoted architect Uwe Bergk to associate in the Seattle office. Bergk's projects have included renovation at Pike Place Market. He was born and raised in Germany, where he received a master's degree in interior architecture. He has more than 20 years of experience, including as an instructor and department chair at the Art Institute of Seattle. SRG provides programming, planning, architecture and interior design.




NAC|Architecture promoted Randall Wilson to principal, Leslie Sydnor to associate principal, and Tami Barnes and Julia Wrigley to associate. Wilson is a project manager in the Spokane office, and is working on Selah Middle School. Sydnor is director of studios in the Los Angeles office. She is project manager for the Long Beach Unified School District's High School No. 2. Barnes, an accountant in the Spokane office, does payroll, benefits and taxes. Wrigley is a marketing coordinator in the Seattle office, and leads marketing and proposal efforts.

Seattle-based Quantum Consulting Engineers hired Frank Unocic as project manager. Unocic has more than 15 years of structural engineering experience, and is focusing on residential and educational projects. Previously, he was the principal for Pyrgos Engineering. Quantum provides structural, seismic and structural engineering.

Jacobs Associates civil engineering firm promoted Keith Abey to senior associate. Abey is a structural engineer in Seattle, providing design review, numerical modeling, forensic engineering support and advice on historic structures. He has nearly 20 years of experience in structural analysis, design and construction administration, and is lead structural engineer on Sound Transit's North Link and University Link.

WHPacific added Lynn Iaquinta to its northwest operations as regional transportation director. Iaquinta has experience in alternative delivery methods, program management, design-build, construction management and bridge engineering. She will focus on client relations, project oversight and business development, and has secured a role for WHPacific on a team pursuing the Columbia River Crossing project. WHPacific is a Native American-owned architecture and engineering firm.
