Baranick works with clients to reduce energy consumption and operating costs of projects. Horn supports workplace and data centers for Fortune 500 companies. Seattle-based Hargis offers mechanical, electrical, telecom, security and energy services.

Studio Meng Strazzara

Nakatani

Studio Meng Strazzara hired Mark Nakatani as a principal. Nakatani was at Tetra Tech as senior vice president and chief architect, and led the high performance buildings initiative. He has led transportation, municipal, state and federal projects for over 20 years for agencies that include the Port of Seattle and Washington State Department of Transportation. He is charged with expanding SMS's geographic presence, developing new markets and gaining public sector work. SMS is a Seattle-based architectural, planning and consulting firm.

Parametrix

Parametrix hired Kristie Casarez as vice president of operations for the Puget Sound region, which includes offices in Seattle, Puyallup and Bremerton. She will oversee staff in the water/wastewater and environmental divisions, and is on the operations leadership team. She has 20 years of engineering experience. Parametrix provides engineering, planning and environmental sciences, with offices in the western U.S.

Bernardo|Wills Architects

Stacy K. Harris joined Bernardo|Wills Architects as marketing coordinator. She has 19 years of marketing and graphic design experience, predominantly in software development and civil engineering. She was marketing coordinator for Murray, Smith & Associates, an Everett civil engineering firm. At Bernardo|Wills, she does marketing, communications and graphic design. The firm provides architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and master planning.

Transpo Group

Transpo Group promoted Patrick Lynch to principal. Lynch is based in Kirkland and has over 17 years of experience as a transportation planner. His interests include pedestrian and bicycle planning, and transportation policy. Transpo Group is a transportation planning, engineering and technology firm.

Perteet

Holmes

Kirk Holmes joins Perteet as director of emergency management services. He will split his time between the Seattle and Ellensburg offices, focusing on helping public agencies prepare for natural disasters. Perteet is a multidisciplinary engineering firm, with offices also in Everett and Snoqualmie.

BHC Consultants

Werner

Aaron Werner of BHC Consultants received a Washington state engineering license. BHC is a municipal services consulting firm, with offices in Seattle and Tacoma.

Trindera Engineering

McAuley

Trindera Engineering hired Adam McAuley as a project engineer in Spokane. McAuley was a project engineer at Dawson Technical in Jacksonville, Florida. He holds a bachelor's in electrical engineering from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Trindera is an electrical and controls engineering and consulting firm, with an office also in Coeur d'Alene.
