In Seattle, OAC Services hired Alex Hofto as a senior program manager, Krista Randolph as a human resources generalist, Michael Egejuru as a project engineer, Paula Welly as a marketing coordinator, Laine Paxton and Melissa Teichman as senior project managers, and Alana Schutt and Randy Maddox as project managers. Hofto will lead several hospitality projects in Seattle and other cities. He has a background in construction, and has led retail, commercial and hospitality TI projects. Randolph has 15 years of human resources experience and will provide HR support for the firm. Egejuru spent six years at Seattle Public Schools as a project specialist. He will serve Lake Washington School District and collaborate with teams on the bond program. Welly has over three years of marketing experience generating graphics and proposals in the construction industry. She will help position OAC EDU and lead major marketing initiatives for the Seattle and Olympia offices. Paxton has 10 years of experience, and will work on projects at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Teichman has 15 years of project and construction management experience, and a background in health care planning. She will lead the Evergreen Health infrastructure project. Schutt has more than 10 years of experience providing owner's representative services. She will lead project and construction management for high-profile commercial clients. Maddox will lead several projects for a high-tech client. He has 13 years of experience in project and construction management for mixed-use, commercial and health care projects. Kreifels has 26 years of experience, primarily on health care, senior care, education and commercial projects. He will support the Olympia office with projects for the Centralia School District. Payne has over 25 years of experience as an owner's representative, project manager and landscape architect. He will lead Centralia School District projects. Thomas will work on a software company's campus revitalization efforts in the San Francisco Bay area. He has two years of experience in construction, and worked on high-tech and commercial projects. OAC provides project and construction management, forensic architecture and engineering, building enclosure consulting, structural engineering and alternative project delivery.

ALSC Architects of Spokane hired Alexander Wolfe as an architectural intern, Jes Sink as a marketer and graphic designer, and Dan Phelps and Devin Barwinski as Revit specialists. Wolfe has a master of architecture degree from Washington State University. He is using his design and graphics experience on projects for Central Valley and Cheney school districts. Sink has design and graphic experience, and is working on marketing and assisting with project branding. Phelps has over 27 years in the industry. He is working on Airway Heights Community Recreation Center. Barwinski has an associates of applied science in architectural technologies from Spokane Community College, and is doing projects for Central Valley School District. At its Seattle headquarters, Hart Crowser promoted Mike Schmitz to senior associate geotechnical engineer and appointed him manager of the geotechnical business unit. Also it hired Jean Olson as a biologist, Andrea Wong as an environmental engineer, Keylin Huddleston as an environmental scientist, Tyler Remund as a geotechnical engineer and Christie Kroskie, Mary Koenig, Justin Brooks, Galen Griggs, Ben Stone and Kelsey McCrady as field geologists. In Portland, it hired Steve Barnett as a senior associate hydrogeologist, and in Honolulu it hired Jim Jacobe as a geotechnical engineer. Schmitz has 14 years of experience with transportation, airport and river levee projects. He recently worked on Trailside Apartments by University Village in Seattle. Olson has 17 years of experience that includes work for state and federal government agencies, companies and non-profits. She will do environmental impact studies, baseline field studies, data management and GIS projects. Wong has a master's in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Washington. She has experience in stormwater monitoring and mapping and in Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Huddleston holds a bachelor's in geology and a bachelor's in environmental science from Eastern Washington University. Remund has a master's in civil (geotechnical) engineering from Brigham Young University and is working on Rainier Square tower in Seattle. Kroskie has six years of experience in deep well drilling. She holds a bachelor's in geology from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Koenig has several years of experience in slope stability and performing geotechnical investigations for large building foundations. Brooks holds a master's in applied geosciences from the UW. Griggs is completing a master's in earth and planetary sciences from the University of California at Davis. Stone has a bachelor's in geology from the University of Puget Sound. He has experience in geotechnical, wetland, stormwater and erosion control projects. McCrady has a bachelor's in geology from Western Washington University. Barnett has 34 years of experience in environmental compliance and cleanup of wood-treating facilities, pulp and paper mills, metal-smelting sites, chemical manufacturing facilities, and landfills, including Superfund sites. Jacobe has seven years of experience supporting green infrastructure, transportation, water/wastewater, building and levee projects. He is working on a Lana‘i Airport project. Hart Crowser is a 105-person engineering, science, and consulting firm.

Helix Design Group of Tacoma hired Dion Bruce and Tyler Graff as architectural designers. Bruce has 15 years of experience designing quick serve restaurants, including for Arby's and Taco Bell. He is working on a medical office building. Graff has two years of experience on M/E/P and residential and commercial design. He has a master of architecture degree from Montana State University and is working on the Tacoma Dome renovation. Helix provides architecture, interior design and graphic design.

In Seattle, DLR Group promoted Christopher Bell, Ariel Mieling, Michael Vander Ploeg (architecture) and Abbey Cwiek-Garrett (interiors) to senior associate. Also, it promoted Anton Blewett, Miranda Karli, Ryan Luthman, Steven Schmitz and Shaylyn Rae Voellinger (architecture) and Scott Hager and Ryan Kellberg (engineering) to associate. DLR provides architecture, engineering, interiors, planning and building optimization.
