Ethos Civil announced the recent additions of Zac Crum, Brent Dowd, and Kristel Grace to the growing firm.
Crum brings 14 years of experience as a civil engineer in the Pacific Northwest and opens a new office for Ethos Civil in Spokane. An alum of Gonzaga University, Crum recently served as a project manager at BCRA. Prior to that, he served as a design manager with NAVFAC northwest at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor. Crum will be providing engineering and construction phase services for Ethos Civil's 159-unit assisted living project in Spokane.
Dowd comes to Ethos Civil from the United States Navy Civil Engineer Corps. He recently completed a DoD SkillBridge internship with the firm and has now fully transitioned to a full-time project engineer in Ethos Civil's Tacoma office. Dowd brings eight years of experience in civil engineering and construction across the globe. He will serve as the lead engineer for the firm's Fire Service Training Center project with Bates Technical College.
Grace joins Ethos Civil's Tacoma office as a project administrator and will provide a variety of support to the firm. Grace is a graduate from Central Washington University. She has a prior background in health and is a certified master health coach, nutrition coach, and personal trainer.

Anna Saint Mullaire has joined Parametrix as a senior planner. She has 20 years of experience working in the public and private sectors designing effective strategic planning processes and increasing the efficiency of business practices.
Saint Mullaire comes to Parametrix from McKinstry Co. LLC where she served as the strategic planning senior manager. Prior to that, she served as interim director of the Washington State Employment Security Department's Product Planning & Performance Division. She is experienced in Lean Six Sigma process design and improvement, governance and decision-making, change management and adoption, project management, data analytics, strategic planning and execution, organizational health and training development.
At Parametrix, Saint Mullaire joins the firm's Strategic Advisory Services team, providing owner advisory, business process improvement, organization development, and strategic consulting services to public agencies across the Western United States.


Jim Bourey has been named the Seattle Architectural Foundation's new executive director.
Bourey, a Seattle resident, was trained professionally as an architect and urban planner receiving master's degrees in both Architecture and Urban Design from Washington University as well as a bachelor's degree in environmental design in architecture from North Carolina State University. For most of his career, Bourey worked as a city and county manager in locations throughout the country. He also served as the director of the office for planning in the city of Seattle many years ago. His experience includes significant private sector experience as well as a consultant and author.
Gwen Lennox joins SAF as program manager.
Lennox supports SAF with programming that educates and inspires the public. She has previously worked in high schools both locally and internationally, initially as science and math teacher and later developing college and career programs for innovative schools. Gwen received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Empire State College. She enjoys collaborating with individuals and organizations to find creative ways to engage the public.

Graphite Design Group has promoted seven people at its Seattle studio.
Graphite has promoted Brian Moe, Jessica Wenger, and Takeshi Okada to associate principals. Throughout their tenure at Graphite, they have showcased leadership in numerous projects. In their new roles, they will manage in-house and consultant teams and take on a mentorship role for their junior staff.
Leadership has also promoted Katelyn Bristow, Rachel Abbott, Parag Sharma, and Sean Worsech to senior associates. These individuals contribute to key Graphite client accounts in both commercial and retail markets, including Vulcan Real Estate, Starbucks and Henbart, LLC. In their new roles, they will assume greater responsibility within projects and expand their involvement outside of projects as active participants in the broader Seattle architecture community.

WSP has hired David Cochrane as senior vice president and transportation program director. He will be based in the Pacific Northwest region.
In this role, Cochrane will be responsible for delivering emerging complex mega-projects, in response to significant congestion and growing mobility needs in the region.
Cochrane has more than 35 years of experience, having held numerous senior leadership positions delivering civil engineering transport infrastructure in the UK, including high-speed rail and highway programs.
His most recent and notable work was on High Speed 2 (HS2), which is Britain's new zero carbon, high-speed railway. HS2 connects communities across England and is Europe's largest infrastructure project in terms of scale and length.
Cochrane holds an honors degree in civil engineering, is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
PACE Engineers announced Darrell Smith as the firm's new civil engineering director. Smith has over 32 years of civil engineering experience and in his new role will drive the company's commitment to optimization and innovation for its heavy civil, land development, municipal, and water resources teams.
His track record includes designing award-winning park-and-rides, innovative Bus Rapid Transit stations, highway interchanges, roundabouts, and parks.

Parametrix has hired Zach Graff as building information modeling (BIM) manager. He brings 18 years of experience in engineering and technology-focused roles.
Graff comes to Parametrix from CAD Masters, Inc. where he served as vice president, leading large firms through all aspects of CAD/BIM implementation and digital delivery. His expertise includes Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D, data migration, geographic information systems, reality capture, 3D visualization, and more.
At Parametrix, he joins the firm's corporate management team, assisting with technology implementation companywide.
